About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, promoting a culture of kindness and compassion
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to ensure high standards of care
Requirements
  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care or equivalent
  • Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and take appropriate action
