Job Title: Clinical Research Doctor/Physician
About the Role

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Doctor/Physician to join our team in the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our department.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with trauma and orthopaedic conditions, including fracture clinics, trauma and elective orthopaedic surgery, and weekend hip lists.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of our department, including participating in ongoing departmental research and audit presentations.
  • Support FY1/2 and ST1/2 doctors, including ward rounds and patient reviews.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including allied healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in clinical governance meetings and contribute to the development of our department's policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
