Job Title: Clinical Research Doctor/PhysicianAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Doctor/Physician to join our team in the Trauma and Orthopaedics department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Clinical Research Doctor/Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical research studies and trials to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new treatments and therapies
  • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and their families
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Person Specification
  • Full GMC registration and a license to practice
  • MB ChB (or equivalent) and MRCS
  • ATLS and ALS certification
  • Previous experience in Trauma and Orthopaedics, with a minimum of 2 years at registrar level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
