About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to join our HR team, responsible for creating a people-centric support service and working closely with our Director - Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs, including coordination of speakers, development of training materials, and facilitation of company inductions.
  • Work with the HR team to ensure a cohesive approach to talent development, including onboarding, digital learning, and career development programs.
  • Evaluate and analyze continuous improvement opportunities to retain talent.
  • Manage and facilitate the Company Inductions, ensuring essential onboarding training for new hires.
  • Endorse the HOME values and think end-to-end in terms of approach, considering all touch points and managing the full project lifecycle for talent development initiatives.
  • Play a key part in the online training platform, Home Point, to build high-performing associates across all departments.
  • Assist in developing a talent strategy, ensuring interventions are linked to the talent strategy and focused on business impact.
  • Continually look for improved ways of working within talent across different departments to drive efficiencies.
  • Actively create, deliver, and promote development opportunities and resources for associates.
  • Evaluate talent initiatives and training courses, using data to drive future decisions and actions.
  • Assist in designing and developing a management training program, covering key areas of people management.
  • Build and manage relationships with local FE providers and universities to offer apprenticeships.
  • Facilitate associate engagement activities, including surveys, feedback, and action points to managers, associate of the month, and the monthly associate wellbeing newsletter.
  • Coordinate activities for wellness and positive wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement a company mentorship program.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and passionate Learning and Development professional, with proven experience in creating and designing training material, coordinating and delivering training programs, and working with various business areas.

Strong administration and IT skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent attention to detail, a creative flair, and first-class communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
