About the Role

We are seeking an Enhanced Practitioner in Oncology to join our clinical review team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate and promote continuity of care for patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based clinical practice in line with local and national initiatives, and working with the clinical team to formulate clinical decisions and complex treatment plans to manage acute radiotherapy toxicity and psychosocial issues. You will also be required to consent agreed patient groups for treatment and procedures as per Trust policy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cancer Care and radiotherapy, with experience in change management and quality standards. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practice in line with local and national initiatives
  • Formulate clinical decisions and complex treatment plans to manage acute radiotherapy toxicity and psychosocial issues
  • Consent agreed patient groups for treatment and procedures as per Trust policy

Requirements
  • HCPC or NMC Registration
  • Experience in Cancer Care and radiotherapy
  • Strong background in change management and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary and Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
