The NHS is committed to transforming cancer care for older adults, and we are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our innovative Senior Adult Oncology Service (SAOS). As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to older patients with frailty and complex cancer diagnoses.

This exciting opportunity offers:

  • An opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care programs addressing frailty syndromes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive physiotherapy management and clinical pathways for older patients with frailty undergoing anti-cancer treatment.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Adult Oncology multidisciplinary team to offer early and proactive Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGAs) to selected cancer patients with frailty.

Qualifications:

  • Physiotherapy BSc or MSc
  • State Registration with Health Care Professionals Council
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

Experience:

  • Significant post-registration experience in a senior physiotherapy role within rehabilitation, frailty, and/or oncology.
  • Proven ability to provide clinical supervision.

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata), depending on location and experience.
