Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Balmore Park GP Surgery. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and values.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to ensure evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of practice policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions, including medical histories, treatment plans, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or a related specialty.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care, preferably in a similar practice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other practice management systems.
