Job Description

Job Summary

The Salaried General Practitioner will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of Balmore Park GP Surgery. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences, medical history, and current health status.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed, ensuring adherence to practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Excellent clinical skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
