Job Title: Duty Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Duty Manager to join our team at Park Grand Hotels. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hotel, guaranteeing optimum guest relations, and managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth daily operation of the hotel.
  • Guarantee optimum guest relations concurrent with managing and supervising departmental managers and staff members.
  • Ensure security and monitoring of the hotel.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and managers.
  • Attend necessary meetings and conduct meetings with the team.
  • Check standards of services, cleanliness, and greet guests.
  • Be responsible for employee professionalism and training.
  • Ensure corporate, divisional, and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Liaise closely with other departments and emphasize excellent inter-departmental relations.
  • Delegate authority and responsibilities to direct subordinates.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple data sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Opera.
  • Experience in managing a team at a supervisory or managerial level.
  • Previous experience in a 5* environment.
  • Knowledge of using Fourth and Harri.
