Step Teachers is working in partnership with a school in Enfield to find an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the Early Years team on a long-term supply basis.

The school strives to understand each individual child's needs and unlock their potential by delivering an outstanding and ambitious curriculum through forward-thinking pedagogical practice, excellent facilities, and resources, and creative staff.

This role involves providing support to children within the Early Years following the EYFS framework. You will plan and execute enriching activities to enhance student learning and development, cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members, and identify and address additional support needs of students.

Salary: We estimate that this role pays approximately £25-30 per hour, depending on experience, making it an attractive option for those looking for flexible work arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school or private nursery.
  • A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant.
