Early Years Leadership Specialist

Bright Horizons is a leading childcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education to young children. We are seeking an experienced Nursery Early Years Childcare Manager to lead our team in providing outstanding care to 89 children in a 3-room nursery.
About the RoleThis is a key leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to drive employee engagement, retention, and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our nursery teams to deliver outstanding care, working in partnership with Recruitment and HR to ensure fully recruited teams, and acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead and managing safeguarding and child protection policies.
The ideal candidate will have a full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, experience in Early Years leadership roles, and a proven track record of developing high-performance teams and managing regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and service excellence.
We offer a competitive salary of £42,523 - £56,100 per annum, plus a £2,000 bonus for outstanding Ofsted rating and 100% discounted childcare. Our benefits package includes above-industry standard salary, attractive bonuses, and opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead nursery teams to deliver outstanding care
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
- Work in partnership with Recruitment and HR to ensure fully recruited teams
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage safeguarding and child protection policies
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Experience in Early Years leadership role, ideally as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager
- Experience of participating in a regulatory inspection with a "Good" or "Outstanding" outcome
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners
