**Role Summary:** Dedicated SEN Primary Professional Wanted
We are seeking an experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join our team in Ealing, supporting students with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and sensory challenges. The class currently has 13 pupils, with a capacity of 15, and two new students expected after Christmas.
The successful candidate will have experience working with students with complex needs, including those recovering from strokes. You will be responsible for delivering a tailored curriculum designed to support the educational, social, and emotional growth of Years 4-6 students.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team in Ealing and help create a nurturing learning environment. As the SEN Primary Teacher, you will collaborate with two TAs and HLTAs to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver a tailored curriculum designed to support the educational, social, and emotional growth of Years 4-6 students.
- Collaborate with two TAs and HLTAs to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils with sensory needs, including those on a sensory diet and using tools like visual aids, phonics, and Makaton.
- Work with students with ASD, SpLD, challenging behaviours, and complex needs, including those recovering from strokes.
- Use Zones of Regulation strategies to help students manage emotions and behaviours.
Requirements:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience working with students with sensory needs.
- Has worked with pupils with ASD, SpLD, and challenging behaviours.
- Has experience with Zones of Regulation and supporting students with complex needs, including those recovering from medical conditions like strokes.
- Possesses excellent organisational skills to manage long-term planning and Annual Reviews for pupils with EHCPs.
