About the Role

As a Client Relationship Consultant, you will play a crucial role in building and fostering relationships with clients at U.S. Bank. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers through multiple channels, including in-person, by appointment, and virtually, to provide them with exceptional counsel while adapting a digital-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS: You will build strong relationships with clients based on trust, assessing their banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, and recommending solutions tailored to each client's unique goals and needs.
  • CLIENT ENGAGEMENT: You will maintain a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings, and use this expertise to educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: You will provide exceptional customer service by proactively engaging with clients, asking questions about their financial needs, and learning about their banking channel preferences.
Requirements
  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • MINIMUM 4-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Typically, candidates for this role should have a minimum of four to five years of job-related retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PROVEN RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING SKILLS: You should have a proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS: You must be able to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
  • THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF BANK POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: You should have a thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
Compensation and Benefits
  • SALARY: The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • BENEFITS: U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, basic term and optional term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, pregnancy disability and parental leave, 401(k) and employer-funded retirement plan, paid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure), up to 11 paid holiday opportunities, adoption assistance, and sick and safe leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
