At Balco Ltd, a leading provider of innovative balcony systems across Europe, we are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Manager to support our growth in the UK market.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects with the highest quality and profitability, from sales support to project completion. The position is primarily based at our office in Taunton or Manchester, though occasional travel to other European offices may be required.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our sales team to review client creditworthiness and tender documents to ensure accurate quotes and contracts.
  • Standardize sales quotes to maintain consistency and accuracy across all projects.
  • Collaborate with pricing teams at other European offices to deliver competitive quotes.
  • Manage value engineering requests and repricing during the tender phase to meet customer requirements and project needs.
  • Ensure that all design work is completed and integrated into contracts during the preconstruction phase.
  • Prepare cost analyses and cash flow forecasts to support smooth commercial delivery.
  • Negotiate contract clarifications and updates with clients to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Oversee and update project cost reports and track cost allocations to provide commercial insight.
  • Lead monthly commercial reviews providing forecasts on cash flow and financial performance.
  • Manage net reviews for each project and monitor spending patterns to ensure timely payment processes and contract completions.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with experience in a commercial role within the construction, engineering, or related industries, with strong skills in cost estimation, tender management, and contract administration. A solid understanding of UK construction regulations and experience working internationally is essential.
