Fixed Asset Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a pivotal member of our Accounting & Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the company's fixed assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Process asset requests on a daily basis, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Process monthly settlements of completed tangible fixed asset projects, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Assist with the recharging of project costs where required, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Process asset disposals as required, following established procedures.
- Process impairment of fixed assets as required, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Reconcile the fixed asset register to the general ledger on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Report on fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation on a monthly basis for the board, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Assist with analysis of fixed asset additions and disposals for corporation tax purposes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare the capital expenditure, disposal, and depreciation budgets, working closely with the finance team.
- Settle functional locations, events, and customers monthly, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare estates expenditure budgets, working closely with the estates team.
- Report on performance versus estates expenditure budget as required, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Assist with year-end tasks relating to fixed assets, including preparation of the Fixed Assets note, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a schedule of assets held for sale, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, with a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Excel, pivot tables, and look-ups.
- AAT Qualification or Part Qualification, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- The ability to work well in a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- An hourly salary of 22.0 GBP, with a range of GBP.
