Fixed Asset Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the fixed asset register, processing asset requests, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily asset requests and maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile the fixed asset register to the general ledger on a monthly basis
  • Report on fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation to the board
  • Assist with analysis of fixed asset additions and disposals for corporation tax purposes
  • Prepare estates expenditure budgets and report on performance
  • Maintain a schedule of assets held for sale
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and financial software
  • Proficiency in Excel, pivot tables, and look-ups
  • AAT Qualification or Part Qualification
