Fixed Asset Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team at Page Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all fixed asset activities within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all fixed asset activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all fixed asset purchases and disposals, including documentation and supporting evidence.
  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure asset accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to identify and meet fixed asset needs, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Prepare and present detailed fixed asset reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting and tax regulations related to fixed assets, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process, providing informed insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in other accounting tasks as needed, supporting the team's overall objectives.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with a focus on fixed assets.
