About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our specialist team based in West Kent. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live their lives fully.
Main Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, providing assessment and interventions for individuals with learning disabilities. You will work towards maximising a person's quality of life by providing clinical expertise, behavioural and engagement support. You will also be expected to measure progress and ensure effective outcomes for the individual.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. You will be required to work closely with all stakeholders and promote effective collaborative working with all those involved in the person's life.

- Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (Occupational Therapist / HCPC)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience of recent community healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
- Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
- Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practice, legislation, and policies relating to people with a learning disability
