I am currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Austin Fraser. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take on a leadership role in managing a team of 3.

This position will be responsible for managing a small team including a Management Accountant and two ledger clerks. The purpose of this role will also be to work closely with non-finance stakeholders on budgeting and forecasting, and will take the lead on the annual budget process and reforecasting projections.

Main Duties:

  • Deliver all aspects of management accounting, including cost management, cash flow management, variance analysis, budgeting & forecasting.
  • Lead finance transactional processing, including management of income, student billings, cashbook, and accounts payable functions.
  • Review financial ledgers ensuring accuracy.
  • Review the team's month-end work, including balance sheet reconciliations, cost centre reports, funds, donations accounting, and major project reporting.
  • Lead on the annual budget process, ensuring income, cost management, and operating cash flow management.

Requirements:

You will need significant post-qualification experience in financial and management accounting, as well as previous experience of staff management.

This role offers a salary between £50,000 - £55,000, alongside an excellent benefits package.
