We are currently recruiting for a Senior Cybersecurity Professional to join our team at Protection Group International. As a Senior Cybersecurity Professional, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve and maintain information security standards and frameworks. Your responsibilities will include engaging directly with clients, solving problems and escalating when necessary, planning and quoting for simple client engagements or projects, writing proposals, business cases, and managing quality control of deliverables. You will also mentor team members and hire for junior roles, manage third-party relationships, workload, and project profitability, review and oversee third-party work, set expectations, and delegate responsibilities. Additionally, you will support career development within the team and align performance with PGI standards.

We are looking for someone with proven relationship management skills and experience in Information Assurance consultancy. You must have qualified Security Assessor (QSA) experience with valid or recently lapsed PCI-DSS QSA accreditation. Familiarity with PCI DSS, NIST CSF, DORA, and GDPR/DPA is also essential. Highly desirable qualifications include ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, Cloud Security, CISM, or CISA. Experience in conducting risk assessments, cyber security maturity evaluations, and remediation strategies is also required. Strong communication skills, able to present to clients and senior stakeholders, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent time-management skills are also necessary.

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
