Quality Inspector Role

A product quality control specialist is required to join the established QHSE department of an esteemed business based near Dishforth. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a motivated individual to conduct visual inspections and maintain calibration equipment.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough visual inspections of goods in and out, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visual inspection of goods in and out
  • Maintaining calibration equipment
  • CMM Operation
  • Implementing root cause analysis strategies
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions
  • Identifying opportunities for quality improvement

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

  • Quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment
  • CMM operator skills are highly desirable
  • Ability to understand and read technical drawings
  • Experience in problem-solving quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying areas for improvement
  • A keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage workload effectively

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £33,000 - £35,000 (pro rata 6-month contract) plus great benefits. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team and contribute to the company's success.

This is a full-time temporary position, based at our client's office near Dishforth. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to be made permanent upon completion of the 6-month contract.
