Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading North Yorkshire based business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading process improvement projects, researching new equipment and systems, and developing a Lean Manufacturing culture within the production teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects in process improvement, new equipment, facilities, safety, and other areas, including development of business cases, financial budgets, resource management, timelines, communication, and reporting.
  • Research new equipment, systems, and innovation within the market for potential investment.
  • Observe, research, and present findings concisely.
  • Respectfully challenge stakeholders when they request things that are above and beyond the project scope.
  • Develop a Lean Manufacturing culture within Production teams and the wider business.
  • Guide teams through process changes and coordinate the deployment of new systems on site.
  • Control and reduce costs in the factory by continuously challenging the methods of manufacture.
  • Coach, train, and mentor production teams on Lean methodology, structured daily management, and KPIs, ensuring improvement actions are in place when required.
Requirements:
  • Hold an Engineering Qualification (HNC, HND, etc.) - a degree would be an advantage.
  • Possess a general understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the core business.
  • Lean/CI experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments/priorities and achieve results.
