As a Laboratory Instrument Service Specialist with Zenopa, you will have the opportunity to work with leading OEMs in Chromatography. With an extensive training programme and the chance to collaborate with Shimadzu Spectroscopy products, this role offers a challenging and rewarding career path.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining proficient knowledge of Shimadzu Spectroscopy products, with a focus on service schedules.
  • Work will involve collaboration with UV, FTIR, TO, and other instruments.
  • You will offer first-class customer support as part of an experienced team.
  • Perform installations, customer training, and preventative maintenance visits.
  • Respond to breakdowns and troubleshoot within 48 hours.
  • Validate instrumentation and report service jobs using SAP.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts.
  • Travel to various parts of the UK and occasionally overseas.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field service environment in the laboratory instrument industry is required.
  • Knowledge of LC, LCMS, HPLC, and other techniques is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and PC hardware skills is necessary.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a clean UK driving license are required.
  • A degree/HND/HNC or equivalent is preferred.

Package:

Your salary will range from £33,000 to £43,000 per annum, with a potential bonus of up to £6,500. You will also receive a car, laptop, mobile phone, 25 days holiday, pension, and private health insurance.
