Laboratory Service Specialist
A Laboratory Service Specialist position has become available at Coalesce Recruitment Limited, a reputable laboratory equipment provider in Cambridgeshire.
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled individual to provide on-site service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of laboratory equipment throughout Cambridgeshire. This will include servicing equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, pumps, vacuum concentrators and agitators within hospitals, universities and research establishments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and a proven track record of working within a field service / engineering capacity on laboratory equipment / instruments, medical equipment or dental equipment.
- Carry out routine service, maintenance, calibration, repair and installation of laboratory equipment.
- Foster excellent relationships with customers through exceptional communication skills.
- Travel throughout Cambridgeshire, including overnight stays when necessary.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive service reports and calibration certificates.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience working with laboratory equipment.
- Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
