This role involves working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, providing specialist forensic risk assessments, interventions, and oversight.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Hold a small caseload of patients with complex needs living in the community, completing specialist forensic risk assessment, risk intervention, and oversight.
- Provide clinical assessment, support, planning, and oversight for patients currently in psychiatric units with forensic needs, preparing for safe discharge and ongoing monitoring.
- Act as lead professional and complete required assessments and record keeping.
- Work collaboratively with inpatient teams, commissioners, and other case managers to support the Community Learning Disability Teams where patients present with potential forensic risks.
- Offer training and advice to carers, providers, and health and social care staff on meeting individuals' forensic needs.
- Provide specialist advice and support to enable individuals to remain in the community and prevent in-patient admissions.
- Where required, provide direct interventions.

">A competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a comprehensive induction program and access to bespoke training in assessment and risk management of patients with learning disabilities and complex behavioral and forensic needs.
