Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Premier Foods. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform proactive maintenance and inspection work to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Advise and assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of projects and small initiatives.
  • Ensure that plant and equipment systems perform to high quality standards and efficiently manufacture products.
  • Assist with training and support of non-electrically biased engineers and electrical engineers to improve their knowledge of automated machinery.
  • Support the engineering and manufacturing functions to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within company safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and waste reduction.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering (e.g., Level 3 Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar).
  • Previous experience in automated manufacturing environments.
  • Working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic technical manuals and drawings.
