Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturing company in the FMCG industry. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing site, with a focus on electrical and mechanical maintenance.

About the Role

  • As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
  • You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including production staff and management.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Experience with maintenance planning systems and a strong understanding of H&S regulations are highly desirable.
  • You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement and innovation in the maintenance process.

Requirements

  • Multi skilled engineer with electrical qualifications, either electrical or mechanically biased.
  • Time served engineer with a recognised apprenticeship.
  • The ideal candidate will hold an ONC/HNC qualification.
  • Experience working with maintenance planning systems.
  • Strong understand of H&S, IOSH qualifications are desirable.
  • Experience with CMMS, management, deployment and auditing.
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation will be at the heart of your work.
  • Experience of RCA processes.
  • Experience of food manufacturing and BRC requirements would be preferred.

What We Offer

  • Excellent salary up to £48,000.
