Premier Foods, a leading British food company, is seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team at the Mr Kipling bakery in Stoke on Trent. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site's production equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of projects and small initiatives
  • Ensure plant and equipment systems perform to high quality standards and efficient manufacturing processes
  • Assist in training and supporting non-electrically biased engineers and electrical engineers
  • Support the engineering and manufacturing functions to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency
  • Contribute to and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency

Requirements

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering
  • Previous experience in automated manufacturing environments
  • Working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic technical manuals and drawings
