Claims Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Associate to join our team at Lawes Insurance Recruitment. As a Claims Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with the presentation of their insurance claims, demonstrating technical claims knowledge, and negotiating settlements with insurers and loss adjusters.
Key Responsibilities:- Claims Handling: Assist clients with the presentation of their insurance claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Technical Claims Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of technical claims knowledge in relevant classes of business, providing expert advice to clients and insurers.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate and obtain settlement of claims, liaising with claimants, insurers, and loss adjusters as necessary.
- Portfolio Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of claims to ensure swift resolution and high-quality technical standards.
- Escalation and Communication: Escalate matters as required within insurers and/or their suppliers, ensuring timely and satisfactory solutions for clients.
- Compliance: Comply with regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice, and the Company's own procedures and rules.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and other suppliers.
- Professional Development: Actively contribute to and strive towards the delivery of the Claims Vision and overarching Company Game Plan.
