Strides' Properties Needs Your Expertise

We're looking for an exceptional Trades Manager to join our dynamic Property Services team As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled tradespeople and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality property maintenance and improvements across South Hampshire.

About the Role:

  • You will lead and motivate a team of 12+ in-house tradespeople to deliver excellent service outcomes.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date property records to inform your work and support seamless service delivery.
  • You will prioritize health and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations to safeguard employees and residents.
  • You will develop strong relationships with residents and local communities to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • You will manage budgets and financial performance to optimize resource allocation.
  • You will implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery and stay ahead of industry standards.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing direct labor workforce teams, preferably within Social Housing or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of property maintenance and repair processes, including budget management and resource allocation.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, residents, and external partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to analyze data and inform decision-making.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle to facilitate site visits and inspections.
