Job Summary:

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of a large monthly payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll data and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Prepare payroll-focused budgets and forecasts
  • Resolve payroll queries and maintain accurate pension data
  • Submit payroll data to HMRC and ensure effective submission of annual statutory data
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and maintain an expert knowledge
  • Collate payroll records using MS Excel and support the wider finance team with accounting projects

About the Role:

This is a part-time role that offers highly flexible working patterns, with the opportunity to work from home or in our office. You will be part of a large, friendly, and highly experienced team that provides excellent support and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll management, ideally with AAT qualification
  • Proficiency in digital payroll systems or willingness to learn
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
