Community Engagement Specialist

Oxford Pride seeks a dedicated Community Development Coordinator to build and maintain relationships with local communities and organizations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and nurture relationships with community groups, fostering opportunities for Oxford Pride to support and engage with the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Liaise with community groups to organize and promote family-friendly events, working closely with the Team to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide timely updates to the Communications Officer for event promotion, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
- Potential opportunities to develop and deliver educational workshops for community groups, businesses, and educational establishments, promoting LGBTQIA+ awareness and understanding.
- Prepare and submit reports on community events to the Pride Team, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- A strong desire to engage with new people and contribute to the success of Oxford Pride.
