Passionate Building Educator Wanted

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Building Educator to join our team at Dunbar Education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction education, with experience teaching students with SEMH needs and behavioral challenges. They should be able to design and deliver engaging lessons that balance theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational programs to students with SEMH needs and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with support staff to offer individualized support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching students with SEMH needs and behavioral challenges, ideally in a SEN setting
  • Deep understanding of construction practices, including carpentry, masonry, and basic plumbing
  • Non-judgmental, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
