In this role, you will play a critical part in the successful delivery of our projects as a Site Engineer.

**Estimated Salary:** £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)


**Job Description**

As a Site Engineer with Skanska UK Plc, your primary responsibility will be to manage day-to-day quality assurance on site.

This includes surveying, setting out duties, quality checks, and approvals to ensure that all work meets the required standards.

You will also support the Site Manager in liaising with the Engineering and Integration team to resolve conflicts and ensure that work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings.

Additionally, you will assist the site management teams with health, safety, and environmental management, as well as commercial, procurement, and planning teams and supply chain management.

Your goal will be to do the right thing to ensure programme, quality, and cost are delivered, while minimizing waste by ordering the required materials to optimize project performance.


**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.

You should have experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work, with the ability to plan ahead and ideally experience of Temporary Works supervision or lifting supervision.

A proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical difficulties, a can-do attitude, and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done are essential for this role.

A desire to pursue a career in construction and the legal right to work in the UK are also required.
