About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team in Norwich. As a key member of our management team, you will assist in managing operations within the home to reach or exceed goals while ensuring the provision of high-quality care.

You will be responsible for overseeing the care staff and assuming full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present. You will also assist in training and supervising care staff, helping the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, and fostering effective communication with residents' families and other organizations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience as a Deputy Home Manager.
  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • A good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs within the home.

Qualifications required for the role include:

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant experience – Essential.
