Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Leader to join our team at Fortius. As a key member of the operating theatre management, you will be responsible for leading a multi-functional team to deliver exceptional patient care and drive service improvement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience in an operating theatre setting, with a strong track record of driving growth and leading teams. You will be educated to degree level and have completed further professional development. A Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration is essential.

You will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead under pressure and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient pathways. Experience of tight budgetary management and a proven ability to mentor junior staff would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a multi-functional team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop clinical expertise and evidence-based practice
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of new recruits
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to challenge and influence clinical decision making
