We are seeking a seasoned Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team in Bromley, assisting partners and managers in delivering statutory audit and accounts preparation services. As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in planning and executing audit assignments, supervising junior staff, and managing client communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments with accuracy and timeliness
  • Supervising junior staff during audits and providing constructive feedback on their work
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients through effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance and technical development

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in private company audits, including planning, budgeting, and identifying key risks
  • Familiarity with current auditing standards and approaches, including analytical review, documenting systems and controls, and sampling techniques
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and charities accounting requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

In terms of salary, we estimate this role to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry benchmarks and reflects the level of expertise required for this position.
