We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join our team in Ashford, United Kingdom. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the team in monitoring and managing the company's cash flow, maintaining financial stability.
- Develop and implement improved financial systems, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software, including Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams.
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with a strong academic record.
