Finance / Accountancy Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Officer to join our team at Folkestone Girls' Academy. As a key member of our central finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of outstanding financial services to all stakeholders.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance professional to contribute to the growth and development of our Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in purchase and sales ledger accounting, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to change.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Purchase Ledger Management: You will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, including processing invoices, payments, and credit notes.
  2. Sales Ledger Management: You will also manage the sales ledger, including processing customer statements and chasing overdue payments.
  3. Payroll Knowledge: While not essential, knowledge of payroll would be an advantage, although ongoing training and support will be provided.
