Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Systems Developer to join our team at ZipRecruiter.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting software systems throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design new software applications and iterations to existing ones, ensuring user requirements are met.
  • Collaborate closely with Development and Test teams to ensure efficient creation of software applications/integrations inline with estimates, timescales & quality.
  • Provide technical support and training as required to users of the company software and systems.
  • Participate in regular training/learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proficient in using SQL to interrogate and manipulate data.
  • Practical experience with SOAP and REST APIs, message queues, JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats including service bus technologies.
  • Strong MS Office skills.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of £50-55,000 + excellent benefits.

This is a hybrid role: 2 - 3 days per week in Chorley office, the rest remote.
