Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our client, a fast-growing leader in the payments and financial services industry, specialising in cross-border transactions and remittance solutions for businesses.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue and market share within the eCommerce sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the eCommerce market.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key players in the eCommerce ecosystem, including online platforms, marketplaces, and service providers.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimise business strategies.
  • Design and oversee strategies for acquiring and retaining eCommerce clients, focusing on building long-term relationships and increasing brand loyalty.
  • Manage budgets, create forecasts, and develop financial models to support growth initiatives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the eCommerce or online payments industry, with a proven record of driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated success in forming and managing eCommerce partnerships with key platforms or service providers.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce payment solutions, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions and execute on growth strategies.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
