Housing Manager Communities

We are seeking a skilled Housing Manager to join our team at Home Group, working in Teesside, Durham & Sunderland. As a Housing Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain community plans in collaboration with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Home Group in our communities, undertaking tasks such as estate inspections, anti-social behaviour management, and statutory compliance visits.
  • Progress legal paperwork, including notices and witness statements for anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Work closely with the wider housing management team, Neighbourhood Assistants, Financial Inclusion Partners, and Community Housing Assistants.

Requirements

  • Background in neighbourhood management processes, either within the housing sector or an alternative sector.
  • Understanding of housing management, housing law, and customer service.
  • Competence in IT and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Organised and methodical approach, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
