About the Role

Housing Manager Communities is a key position at Home Group, where you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting our communities in Teesside, Durham & Sunderland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain community plans in collaboration with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Represent Home Group in our communities, undertaking tasks such as estate inspections, anti-social behaviour management, and statutory compliance visits.
  • Progress legal paperwork, including notices and witness statements for anti-social behaviour cases at court.
  • Work closely with our housing management teams, Neighbourhood Assistants, Financial Inclusion Partners, and Community Housing Assistants to deliver for our customers within our communities.

Requirements

  • Background in neighbourhood management processes, either within the housing sector or an alternative sector.
  • Understanding of housing management, housing law, and customer service.
  • Competence in IT and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Organised and methodical approach, with a proactive self-starter attitude.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and desire to help customers.
