We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Positioning Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of our fleet of vessels.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain marine electronics systems, including VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, and telemetry systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of equipment and systems.
  • Conduct field-based fault finding and board-level diagnosis to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide remote support to vessels with technical issues, including out-of-hours and weekend support.
  • Test and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage asset movement and prepare shipping documents.

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Proven knowledge of installing marine electronics equipment, including VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, and telemetry systems.
  • High degree of computer/IT literacy.
  • Previous experience working within the oil and gas industry.
