About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Positioning Team, you will be responsible for providing service support for our fleet of vessels.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing service support for Company Operated Vessel.
  • Following maintenance schedules and field-based fault finding and board-level diagnosis.
  • Liaising with internal and external suppliers and contractors.
  • Installation of equipment on vessels, and integration with other systems.
  • Preparation, testing, and packing of equipment prior to dispatch to vessels.
  • Providing remote support to vessels with technical issues, potentially out-of-hours and at weekends.
  • Testing and repair of equipment.
  • Control of asset movement and preparation of shipping documents.

You will be a great team player, able to work independently when required, and be flexible in your approach. You will also be willing to help out when needed to ensure our fleet of vessels can operate effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HNC or equivalent qualification/experience relevant to electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of installing Marine Electronics equipment such as VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, telemetry, computer systems, GPS, etc.
  • High degree of computer/IT literacy.
  • Previous experience of working within the oil and gas industry.
