Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team as a Marine Electronics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our fleet of vessels by providing expert technical support and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine electronics equipment, including VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, and telemetry systems.
  • Install and integrate new electronics equipment on vessels, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide technical support to vessels, including remote troubleshooting and repair of electronics equipment.
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Positioning Team to ensure effective operation of our fleet.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in electronics or electrical engineering, such as a HNC or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in installing and maintaining marine electronics equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and IT literacy.
  • Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry.

The successful candidate will be based at our Hewett Park facility, where they will work closely with our Positioning Team to ensure the effective operation of our fleet.
