About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer to join our team at Gardline Group. As a key member of our Positioning Team, you will be responsible for providing service support for our Company Operated Vessels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine electronics equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct field-based fault finding and board-level diagnosis to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare and test equipment prior to dispatch to vessels.
  • Provide remote support to vessels with technical issues, including out-of-hours and weekend support.
  • Test and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage asset movement and prepare shipping documents.

Your Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of installing marine electronics equipment, including VHF, HF, AIS, Radar, telemetry, computer systems, GPS, etc.
  • High degree of computer/IT literacy.
  • Previous experience working within the oil and gas industry.
