Radiology Specialist

Job Title: Radiology Specialist
We are seeking a Radiology Specialist to join our team at NHS Lanarkshire.
The successful candidate will contribute to an evening and weekend daytime on-site working for reporting plain films, USS, and CT.
Outside these hours, on-call is outsourced to a third-party provider with the local radiologist acting as a second-on via an on-call rota.
You will work closely with our team of friendly and hardworking colleagues to deliver care to the patients of Lanarkshire.
NHS Lanarkshire is part of the West of Scotland Clinical Network and works closely with Regional Cancer MDTs.
Under- and post-graduate education is an important part of the post, with many consultants being honorary Senior Lecturers at Glasgow University.
The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting plain films, USS, and CT
- Contributing to an evening and weekend daytime on-site working
- Working closely with the team to deliver care to patients
- Participating in MDTs and under- and post-graduate education
Requirements:
- Radiology Specialist qualification
- Experience in reporting plain films, USS, and CT
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
