Advanced Practitioner Radiographer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner Radiographer to join our team in Breast Radiology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist mammographic examinations, including interventional procedures, and delivering a high-quality diagnostic service to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform specialist mammographic examinations, including interventional procedures such as pre-surgical wire insertions.
- Provide direct care and a high-quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Breast Radiology.
- Offer specialist advice and training in wire localisations to specialist radiology registrars and breast sonographers.
- Supervise and act as mentor to specialist radiology registrars, breast sonographers, specialist radiographers, and student radiographers in breast radiology.
