About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker - Fostering to join our team. As a key member of our fostering services, you will play a vital role in supporting and supervising family and friends foster carers, as well as assessing and providing training opportunities to kinship carers.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality reports for various purposes, including LADO consultations, planning meetings, children's reviews, fostering and adoption panels. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of our fostering service and work flexibly, including evening work when required.

Key Responsibilities:- Safeguard children in care and follow relevant procedures if an allegation/concern is raised against a foster carer.
- Ensure children's care and development needs are met by their carers.
- Assess the need for resources to support a foster care in meeting the needs of any children placed.
- Require Enhanced DBS check.
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Social Work England registration.
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate.
- Ability to work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set-ups.
